You are invited to join Corporate Culture Group’s How on Earth Discovery Session about “Turning sustainability into action: unlocking real change to build resilience”
The Discovery Session, which is free of charge, will be held digitally via Zoom from 9.30am to 11.30am on Thursday, 1 October.
One of the emerging impacts of COVID-19 is a growing awareness of how companies are meeting the moment and living up to expectations of what a sustainable and resilient business looks like. Not only is the focus on purpose, disclosure and congruence accelerating, but companies with a demonstrable commitment tosustainable practices increasingly reap longer-term trust and value.
Against this backdrop, bridging the gap between ambition and practice can be difficult. Cultural challenges and set behaviours often get in the way and progress stalls.
This session will focus on practical ways to unlock change to nurture a culture where sustainability is truly at the heart of the business. Led by Caroline Leroi and Tim Parr, and building on our decades-long experience of engaging people to achieve measurable sustainable impact, the session will include the latest thinking on sustainability and resilience, practical case studies, examples of do’s and don’ts, as well as an opportunity for attendees to share and explore their own challenges with a like-minded group of senior professionals.
Caroline Leroi has more than 20 years’ experience of delivering insight-led strategic consultancy for organisations focused on sustainable and social change. Caroline has delivered large-scale projects for some of the world’s most ambitious companies, such as Unilever, Marks & Spencer, Adidas, Nike, H&M and P&G. Since 2010, Caroline’s focus has been first on education-led sustainable change and since 2017 behaviour and culture led change at Corporate Culture. In recent years, she has worked on sustainability strategies and communications for organisations such as SSE, Southern Water, Willmott Dixon, Wrap and Ofwat.
Joining Caroline will be Tim Parr, who has more than 25 years’ experience delivering compelling programmes that bring strategies to life for organisations seeking to inspire sustainable change and action. Tim has helped clients such as Royal DSM, Co-op, KPMG and WWF International frame narratives, create communications strategies and imagine initiatives to engage employees and other stakeholders. He has also worked on sustainability strategies and communications with Barratt Developments, British Land, Anglian Water, RICS (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors) and CISL (Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership).
It promises to be an invaluable session for senior professionals wanting to learn how to more effectively implement sustainable change that drives action.
