Joanna Place leads our private September roundtable discussion on ‘How to develop an inclusion programme that achieves real change’.
Joanna was appointed COO at the Bank of England in July 2017 and previously was the Executive Director of Human Resources. Joanna has spent most of her career at the Bank and has worked in many areas including Banking Supervision, International, Markets and Private Office.
She headed the Statistics Division as her first Head of Division role, and also led Customer Banking during the financial crisis. Her career has also included a secondment to the Border Agency.
Joanna currently has responsibility for the day to day management of the Bank including Finance, Technology, Information and Physical Security, Human Resources together with Property and Procurement.

The aim is to bring together a small number of people who would welcome an open discussion about the subject based on their insight and knowledge.
Guests will arrive from 5pm for a prompt start at 5:30pm. Joanna will then share her views and experiences before opening up the discussion to guests. An early evening bite to eat and refreshments will be provided.
