FCC Environment is one of the UK’s leading waste and resource management companies. A key element of its role is to minimise the amount of waste that ends up in landfill by transforming it into valuable resources. FCC challenged us to create an inspiring and distinctive brand proposition that reflected this purpose and positioned the business as dynamic, innovative and at the forefront of its sector.
Our approach was to demystify the processes and technology at the core of FCC Environment’s five service areas – business waste solutions, municipal services, recycling, green energy and waste processing – and to bring its expertise to the fore with a powerful and engaging visual brand solution, and a supporting strapline that highlighted its core business promise.
‘From Waste to Resource’ elegantly captures the essence of the FCC proposition, and the comprehensive, yet flexible graphic brand communicates the forward-thinking nature of its operations. To support brand roll-out we created a wide range of digital and print applications, including FCC’s online presence and a vivid brand animation. All of the outputs harness the inherent dynamism of this new look and feel, and make an immediate connection with employees and customers.
