Engaging employees in refreshing values

BGL Group is one of the UK’s largest consumer insurance groups with more than 3,000 employees throughout Europe. It operates the popular price comparison brand

After achieving strong growth since its entrepreneurial beginnings, and with a new strategy emerging, BGL wanted to engage employees in collaboratively refreshing its values. It was essential that these new values retained the brand essence that has contributed to BGL’s success, while being fit for the future.

We created a two-month engagement roadmap for gathering individual and team views through co-creation sessions, focus groups, events, communications and digital surveys. We also advised on the alignment of the values with the emerging strategy, behaviour capability framework and brand tone.

The refreshed set of values is currently being integrated across the Group.
