When The Crown Estate launched its new vision and proposition for 2022 it wanted its people right at the heart of achieving its ambition. It asked for our help to understand its employees’ attitudes, and develop a communications and engagement programme that would bring its vision to life, engage colleagues in the journey and champion collaborative behaviours.
We helped to develop and deliver the One Team programme, a range of activities to bring The Crown Estate’s desired people behaviours to life.
As the name suggests, One Team was based on building stronger connections, with a series of linked activities that would enable and encourage colleagues to share knowledge and skills, make new connections across the business, and support The Crown Estate’s purpose of ‘conscious commercialism’.
The initiatives were designed to be thought-provoking, invigorating and enjoyable, and were based around: face-to-face communications with leaders, digital storytelling platforms, busman’s holidays, and volunteering events. To support the roll-out of this suite of initiatives we also created a range of print and digital communications, a manager’s messaging framework and employee narrative, and a dynamic One Team launch event that got everybody into the collaborative spirit.
